We love our soap, and this recipe has handed to us by a family who have created it themselves for their use in Africa, where they keep a herd of Nubian Goats. This recipe is unique in that we use 7 Butters and Oils blended with the butterfats in Goats Milk. All these oils and butters can give your skin different benefits.

Many soaps and washing products contain lots of chemicals making them cheap and easy to produce. A lot of these chemicals can cause issues when used frequently on skin and certainly do not help people with sensitive skin.

sweet almond oil

Sweet almond oil is a potent essential oil used for treating dry and sun-damaged skin and hair, lightening the skin, acting as a gentle cleanser, preventing acne, and strengthening the nails. It contains the most amount of vitamin E of any of our ingredients in the soap.

RICE BRAN OIL

Rice bran oil has the potential to promote hydration, reduce pigmentation, even out skin tones, and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These skin benefits of rice bran oil are largely attributed to the high level of vitamin E, vitamin B, omega-9, a rich array of fatty acids.

avocado oil

Avocado oil is rich in fatty acids and is excellent for moisturising the skin. In addition to vitamin E it naturally contains potassium and lecithin as well as other nutrients that can nourish and moisturise the skin.

castor oil

Anti microbial and anti inflammatory properties of castor oil make it useful in reducing acne as the ricinoleic acid inhibits growth in bacteria that causes acne. other fatty acids enhance softness and smoothness of skin.

Goats milk

Even dermatologists have to admit it's a skin-care superfood: Goat milk is full of moisture-boosting fat molecules, redness-reducing exfoliating acids, nourishing vitamin A, and a handful of other skin-loving minerals that make it a powerful, yet gentle antidote for everything from eczema to acne.

COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is composed primarily of nourishing fatty acids and is especially high in lauric acid. It also contains vitamin E and healthy fats, which help to make skin smooth. The benefits of coconut oil for your face can be found in a variety of products, on its own or as part of a nourishing blend.

Regular use of coconut oil on the hair can not only nourishes your dry strands but also strengthens and protects, thus reducing protein loss and damage due to styling and colouring.

shea butter

It contains high concentrations of natural fatty acids and vitamins which make it incredibly nourishing and moisturising for skin. Easily absorbed by the skin it can help protect the skin natural oils, reduce inflammation and soften and strengthen the skin. Raw, unrefined shea butter is effective in curing skin rashes, skin peeling after tanning, scars, stretch marks, frost bites, burns, athletes foot, insect bites and stings, and acne. We only purchase it in its unrefined state.
